The Golden Hind is a site of disparate iconographic objects and imagery which reference contested spaces and indoctrinated belief systems. James and Eleanor will present a pair of golden thread wall drawings set above a floor projected video work. It’s an oppositional space where the hunter hunts and the hunted is hunted.

Originally from Brisbane, Vivian is currently based in Amsterdam where she is Assistant Curator / Head of Publications at Kunstverein, and Assistant Curator with the feminist, performance-focused platform If I Can’t Dance, I Don’t Want to be Part of Your Revolution. Vivian was a participant of the de Appel Curatorial Programme, and holds degrees in Visual Art as well as in Peace & Conflict Analysis. Vivian’s writing has appeared in Eyeline (Brisbane), UnMagazine (Melbourne), LEAP Magazine (Beijing), TAKE on Art (New Delhi) and Metropolis M (Amsterdam). Vivian is also a contributing editor of Discipline Magazine (Melbourne).
